Our department is committed to creating interdisciplinary knowledge, developing student talents with a focus on managerial, information, and language skills, and maximizing their international business career potential.

Development characteristics
- “International Mobility”: Employing three full-time foreign teachers to strengthen students’ foreign language skills and encouraging students to participate in international study exchange and overseas internship programs.
- “Cross-domain integration”: Taking the fields of “International Trade and Finance” and “International Operations and Marketing” as the main axes of curriculum design, we cultivate professional knowledge and train cross-domain integration.
- “Key Employability”: Providing a complete internship guidance mechanism, to improve students’ information application skills, communication skills and workplace English skills, thereby seamlessly integrating them into the workplace.
- “Rich Learning Resources”: Providing exclusive scholarships for students in this department, covering a wide range of scholarships and bursaries for academic excellence, need, overseas exchanges, overseas internships, certificate examinations, etc.

Teaching and Research Development Priorities
The International Business Department takes “International Trade and Finance” and “International Operations and Marketing” as the main focuses of curriculum design, supplemented by “Basic Business Courses,” “Foreign Language Ability,” and “Information and Career Ability”. We strive to strengthen and cultivate management talents in finance, marketing and circulation, business management, operations management, business management, and international entrepreneurship. These fields are also the focus of our teachers’ research interests. In order to cultivate students’ cross-field knowledge and match the future industry trends of AI and IoT, our department strives to plan relevant courses to provide students with cross-field professional abilities such as management, information technology, and language skills for future employment in different industries.

Prospects after Graduation

International trade specialists and domestic and foreign business personnel
Develop potential customers at home and abroad and expand the market; understand customer needs, prepare quotes, receive orders, and manage customer relationships.

Finance-related professionals
Work in the financial department of domestic and foreign companies, or serve domestic and foreign enterprises that provide banking, insurance, investment, securities and other financial services.

Domestic and foreign marketers
Use information such as domestic and foreign market surveys and customer opinions to develop, establish, coordinate, and guide marketing strategies and plans.

Supply chain managers
Integrate upstream and downstream movements, through planning, procurement, production, and distribution. Arrange processes such as returns and returns to respond to customers quickly and agilely, creating corporate competitiveness.

Project managers and project teams
The project manager leads the project team to deliver unique products, services or results to achieve customer value; the project team is assigned a specific task, which brings together the required skills to create cross-domain collaboration.
